Once you have your site ready in your wix account, you will probably want to add a premium plan so that you can remove ads and connect a domain. This will look more professional than having a wix domain and wix banner at the top of your website...
Premium plans offer many benefits - removing Wix ads, connecting a personal domain to your site (e.g. www.mystunningwebsite.com), Premium support, additional storage, extra bandwidth...and much more.
The Wix Premium plans are divided into Website plans and Business & eCommerce plans. Website plans have all the features you need to get your Wix site up and running. For ordinary websites these are all you need.
Business and eCommerce plans have additional features which allow you to accept payments through your site, view detailed Analytics, gain Ad vouchers and other advanced Wix Business applications for example wix bookings.
How do I add a plan to my website?
Upgrade your site at any time to access Premium plan features.
Go to the dashboard of your site.
Click the Upgrade button on the bottom left of your screen.
Select the type of plan you want to purchase:
Website
Business & eCommerce
Click Select under the plan you want to purchase.
Select a subscription period and click Continue to Checkout.
Enter your payment details and click Submit Purchase.

What Standard Website Plans are there?
Combo Plan This is the plan I recommend for most of my clients that have standard websites. You will not often need more storage than this (unless adding tons of image and video), and you can always upgrade down the line if you find that you need it). This is the cheapest one and is around £9.60 a month or less when paid yearly.
