Helping a modern London based recruitment agency expand their reach with a creative re-brand
Kenmore Sloane Recruit is a London based Recruitment Consultancy that specialise in recruiting for Product, Data, Digital Marketing & Technology globally and are passionate about uniting top-tier talent with the right businesses.
There are many recruitment agents out there, therefore KSR needed to stand out as being modern, creative and professional and appeal to a range of innovative digital businesses. The main challenge faced when building the KSR brand was finding a way to seamlessly portray the small team’s warmer, people-first and fun approach into a very to-the-point tech industry. Following in-depth research into the insider world of tech businesses, we championed a 'funky' and 'modern' brand that encompassed what this KSR were all about.
Branding & Website
Virginia - owner of KSR - is young, fun, talented and very up beat! She therefore wanted something different to the standard 'blue and corporate' brands and websites that you often see in the recruitment industry. They're a young company working with a wide range of digital and creative job hunters and businesses. To compete and stand out we chose a more vibrant and young colour palette and feel. This included bright blue, pink and purple which creates a fun and creative mood. To appeal to the corporates that they work with the brand also uses a navy blue - well known for it's trustworthy qualities.
The logo uses the 'less is more' approach and simply embodies the companies name - KSR - and uses the pink full stop to give an essence of the funky vibe straight away.
The website was designed to be simple and easy to use for both corporates to connect, and also for individual job hunters to see and apply for jobs. We used the branding scheme throughout the website and so that Virginia could easily edit and update this over time we chose the easy-to-use Wix builder.
SEO & Growth
Being a new website they had poor search engine visibility. We had two clear target audiences in mind - job hunters and digital/tech/creative companies. We completed an in-depth keyword analysis to see what these target audiences are searching for across major search engines and narrowed the list to 10 top keywords that would generate the most relevant traffic for KSR over time. We optimised the website for these terms and provided KSR with a suitable SEO plan to work on in the future.
